What's in a show?
Lines of Best Fit shows feature an expert scientist giving a short talk about their research, which the improvisors are hearing for the first time. After the talk, you'll have your chance to ask the scientist questions, and then the improvisors create 12-15 minutes of scenes inspired by the science! In a one-hour show, we'll feature two different speakers.Every show features new scientists and topics, so you'll never see the same show twice. Previous speakers have talked about vapes, lasers, treatments for stroke, how to detect brain inflammation, and more!
Meet the founder
Olivia McRae is a science communicator based in Sydney, Australia with over 5 years of experience working in science education and communication. She is currently undertaking her PhD at the University of Sydney, researching creative forms of science communication. As part of her PhD, Olivia has been producing and evaluating performances of Lines of Best Fit.
